The Gamer reviews are starting to pop up, some good, some bad but you can expect that from any new movie release. Some of the dorks that call themselves "movie critics" take themselves waaay too seriously. Ignore the haters who get off on sucking all the fun out of going to see a movie and forming an opinion for yourself.
From what I've heard, it's getting excellent reviews with one particular demographic- younger, male, video game players. My guess is that this was part of the plan all along. But it's also drawing in females of all ages in who want to see Gerard Butler but will come find us right here after they see Johnny Whitworth and start googling him.
I haven't been able to go see it yet, my plans changed and I'm in So. Beach for a few days but I promise to post my review as soon as I lay eyes on Johnny as 'Scotch'!
