Livin' La Vida Loca

Hi JW Fans:

I was in Hollyweird (I can say that, I'm a native) this week for less than 48 hours to celebrate with some friends and I actually managed to stay out of trouble. I say Hollyweird but I love it's history, good and bad and most everything else it has to offer (shopping, restaurants, nightlife to name a few!) Then there's just the plain weird parts of Hollywood, best left unmentioned here, but if you've been there you know what I mean, right?...

Anyway, sorry- can't report to you that I ran into JW at Starbucks or anything like that. None of my friends have seen him out and about. Is he a just a myth? I kid. I saw plenty of smokin' hot guys that looked kinda sorta like him but none were the real deal. Maybe next time we'll try to catch up with him for a 10 second interview if he'll have us...oh yes.. I can squeeze many questions into 10 seconds.

In other not so exciting news, my email was down for a few days it looks like- all resolved now so please resend anything you tried getting to me this week.

Have some good clean fun this weekend and I'll get some more JW updates on here for you asap.

Update on Ny-Lon with Johnny Whitworth

It looks like we won't be seeing JW in Ny-Lon (2009). Bummer, isn't it?

"Regarding Ny-Lon - that was a pilot presentation that did not get picked up last fall."

And there we have it. It's not happening although many have anticipated seeing Johnny in this role. I think only Johnny could tell us why though. Hmmm......

We'll deliver any more updates on this if they develop and thanks for the info Jane!

Ny-Lon (2009) with Johnny Whitworth

Okay, what's going on with the U.S. version of Ny-Lon? I've heard that the pilot was cancelled but according to other sources, it's still in post-production, but the last update was in December 2008. Will Johnny appear in this series, is he out or is it not happening all together?

I'm writing this post before I do my reserach so I'm just thinking out loud. Time to do some digging unless of course Johnny wants to drop us a line with an update :)

Johnny Whitworth in 'Reach for Me'

Even though this movie looks like a dagger through the heart for me, Johnny Whitworth still manages to look adorable during a terminal illness. Even when they try to make him look bad, he looks good. Is that wrong of me?

On serious note, I'll post my review here once I get to see the film, but it's gonna be a tearjerker, isn't it? Still, it looks like even more outstanding work from Johnny Whitworth.

Johnny Whitworth Voted "Favorite Male Guest Star" (and Resident Bad Boy)

First of all, I didn't even know there was a CSI Miami magazine. I TiVo the show, I watch it, I love it... but I didn't know they devoted an entire magazine to it. Now I know, thanks Jane! If anyone has a copy of this article, drop me a line- I need it in my hot little hands.

I also now know that he was voted "Favorite Male Guest Star" in an issue of CSI Miami magazine. So CSI Miami has an average of 13.1 million viewers (correct me if I'm wrong) and they've had quite a few male guest stars play different characters. Johnny Whitworth was VOTED FAVORITE MALE GUEST STAR.... hello!!! Who wouldn't make him a more permanent offer on the show?

Our source also said that Johnny mentioned in the interview that he'd love to reappear on the show if he wasn't busy. Get him while you still can is all I'm sayin'.

Make 'Jake' a Permanent Resident of CSI Miami

OK it's a misleading post title since I don't actually have any new info. SORRY. But I've heard chatter about people wanting to see Johnny Whitworth (aka Jake Berkeley) be cast as a 'permanent' character on CSI Miami. Hmmmmm....anyone...yes? Yes, we agree this is a good, wait...smokin' hot idea.

NEW RELEASE Gamer with Johnny Whitwoth

Johnny Whitworth hits up the big screen again in a new movie titled Gamer due out in September of this year (Release date of 9/4 I think- correct me if I'm wrong).

Just to clear up any confusion, on March 31, 2009, it was announced that the movie had been renamed. Its new title being Citizen Game, this was later confirmed by Lionsgate Publicity BUT on May 8th, 2009 another name change was announced, the new name being Gamer. Either way, this movie looks and sounds smokin' hot.

Johnny's character in this new thriller is called 'Scotch' and we look forward to catching some action with him (at the movies, of course).

The word from Athena Lobit, producer of The Things We Carry, is that the film has not been released yet and is in post-production. The one and only Johnny Whitworth plays the role of Jeremiah.
