What a Week

So my next door neighbor Mack proposed to me last night.

He's 9 years old.

He came over and handed me a heavy shoe box wrapped in newspaper and a bow on top. Adorable. I opened it and there was a big ol' rock just sitting there in tissue paper. Then, after some profuse sweating and intense trembling, he asked me to marry him. He said he was ready to be married to me even though he still goes to school. Adorable again. I declined and told him he had to wait until he was at least 12 to marry me and then I asked him why he gave me this boulder as a gift. He said that his dad told him he'd have to give a girl like me a ROCK. So not true. If he only knew I settled for a goldfish, right?

Johnny Whitworth FANtastic Update

Miss me? I know someone did...

Hi Jo!
I'm a really big fan of Johnny's and check your site everyday from work whenever I can and whenever my boss isn't breathing down my neck lol. I love it its becoming totally addicting for me but plz keep the updates coming, there haven't been any posts in a couple of days??Johnny's amazing just such a total babe in person (and i hear he's a sweetie) I got to see him about 2 years ago(I was in a crowd of people and he never laid eyes on me lol but that's o.k!!) and I was hooked, wow he's sexy, you picked the perfect guy to start a site about because I think he just keeps getting better and better.btw I wanna see him back on CSI too! everyone does! Hope to see some new updates soon :o) --Wendy

Anyway, thank you again to Wendy for the terrific email and the shout out to Johnny. I'm sure he feels the love. I'm gonna call him Baby from now on in all my posts. Ok promise I won't. Just Babe then? Kidding.

On a side note, sorry about the lack of updates some days are just waay more hectic and let's just say more interesting than others. I walked into my office on Tuesday morning and there was a brand new little goldfish in a glass bowl sitting on my desk. Just staring at me with these unusually big eyes. If you read my goldfish post the other day, you'll kind of get this. I'm just not a really big fan of cleaning fish bowls, you know? Kind of cute though, he's a keeper.

Eddie Cibrian Is No Jake Berkeley

I wouldn't usually post a half naked photo of another man up on your Johnny Whitworth FanSite but here we go.

Here's your first look at Eddie Cibrian as Jesse Cardoza, an officer from the Hollywood Division who joins the squad in CSI:Miami, all shirtless and hairless. Yawn.

"This exclusive PEOPLE.com photo was taken Aug. 7 on the show's Manhattan Beach, Calif., set. In it, Cibrian's Jesse gets caught up in a hostage situation and treats a gunshot wound victim by using his shirt to stanch the bleeding."

I can expect People Magazine to go up one side of me and down the other for doodling on their exclusive photo, but it was worth it.

CSI Miami and My Goldfish

So I found my goldfish belly up in his tank late last night :( Not your ususal goldfish, this little guy was overnighted to me on a plane last year by my friend JD from Los Angeles. He arrived in a small glass bowl full of water which was inside a ventilated cooler. I didn't even know this was possible. The story behind it was JD wanted me to pick out a gift while we shopped in LA and I told him I'd be be happy with a $2 goldfish. Who says that?

It was a killer gesture and he was a great little goldfish. But he's been flushed.

Anyway my goldfish story is unrelated to Johnny Whitworth, but this isn't:

I've been getting emails from a few of you wanting to know the name of the girl with Johnny in the DFFLA red carpet photo that I posted yesterday.

I have no idea and even if I knew, it's not something I'd want to start speculating about unless JW wanted that kind of info shared with his fans, you know? All I can say is she looks like a nice girl with exquisite taste in men.

Gotta run, someone promised to make margaritas and cook for me tonight, love it. Do I ever say no to a margarita, people? No I do not.

giddyup, boys & girls! We blew past 5,000 page views overnight and I'm sure you knew I'd be all over it when it happened. Although 6 of those views were from my friend Jorja who said she kept going back yesterday to see the recent pics of Johnny looking more gorgeous than ever. That was a mouthful.

Anyway, 5,000 page views is the first major milestone in building a smokin' hot site and we managed to do that in a relatively short time thanks to you. Johnny Whitworth "Doodling" Concern

Debbie K. from West Palm Beach, FL says that as "incredibly amusing as you are Jo", she wants to know if people can get into trouble for doodling on Johnny's images.

First, I doodle Johnny because I care. Keep it clean people.

Second, yes, people can get into trouble for stealing images and doodling. I don't know anyone in this room who would do that though.

DFFLA and 'Reach For Me' Tonight

Tonight is the premiere of the DFFLA's Centerpiece Gala film, Reach for Me. Seymour Cassel (who plays Alvin in the film) is being honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award. And yes here comes my two cents worth, where's Johnny's award?! He's totally award-worthy, so we expect to see it someday soon.

If you're going tonight, you'll love it- it kind of feels like Hollywood glam but it has a less...um...pretentious atmosphere. Did that come out OK?

Anyway, best of luck to everyone tonight, it's an exciting evening for the entire cast of Reach for Me!

Johnny Whitworth Fan Future

Okay I was informed today that one of Johnny's co-stars (I'll leave him un-named, he doesn't really do anything for me) has QUITE the unparalleled female fan following. So enormous in fact, there's an entire group of women who lead a fan site for him and even have a President and CEO. wtf, a CEO, really? They even hold conventions each year in Vegas without this actor actually showing up. Good times.

I don't know about you but if I go to an event like that, I'm there to meet the guest of honor, not just eat the prime rib that came with cost of the ticket. Know what I mean?

I'm getting sidetracked again. Here's my point. Johnny Whitworth has a ton of fans. Fans that go way back and new fans every day. But he also has the potential to have the same enormous fan base as this co-star I'm talking about. This is what we want to see. This is why the Johnny Whitworth FanSite exists.

The real question is- does he want any of it? We might ask him sooner or later because we're closing in on 5,000 page views. I'm pretty sure this means his fans want more more more!

Jorja Loves Johnny Whitworth

So...it's not a good idea to drink Mojitos at a business meeting, k? I'm even thinking it's not a good idea to drink Mojotos at all. I'm not a huge drinker but summer brings out the gotta-have-a-tropical-drink-no-matter-where-I-am in me.

Anyway.

Johnny Whitworth's name actually came up at my meeting, not even from me but from my friend Jorja who worked in tv/film and insisted to the entire table that he's one of the sexiest men alive. I ordered another Mojito.

We didn't get much business accomplished and the men at the table were squirming but who cares!

CSI:Miami 'Sunblock' Episode

Alright. I spent all day on the back of a Ducati. I love a good ride, but by 8pm I was beggin' for a shower, a margarita and an hour or two of non-Ducati silence.

So,I decided to turn off my phone and catch the Sunblock episode of CSI Miami. After all, I encourage you guys to keep watching so I need to watch them myself when I can, right?

I really liked the episode, wolf hormones and all.

Speaking of wolf. Ryan Wolfe. Nnnnno!

Anyway, you know I get sidetracked so let me reel myself back in here. How sexy was Johnny/Jake in this episode? That sweet little exchange with Calleigh at the end and then the wink. But by all means pair her up with Delko, k?

"THE THINGS WE CARRY has been accepted to and will be screening at the 10th Annual San Diego Asian Film Festival :) The festival runs from October 15-29 and we'll keep you all posted as the details unfold."

Where Are My Johnny Whitworth Updates?!

Sorry, sorry, sorry! I just got back and according to your emails, Johnny's fans wanna know where their updates are! They're coming, they're coming I promise!

BTW- I think I discovered where my thing for Jake Berkeley comes from. I came face to face with a former boyfriend at LAX this weekend and he's still one hot federal agent. He talked to me all through the security line and then made sure he flagged me so I had to get the wand from head to toe. In the end, they had to disarm me of my nail file. Thanks babe. He said he was just trying to get some extra time with me but I know break-up revenge when I see it.

Wait- don't fall asleep yet, here's the point of this- he so reminded me of Johnny Whitworth as Jake Berkeley (CSI Miami). Same height, build, not the same sexy hair, but similar face and voice. Hot is all I can say, really. And I absolutely love a man that can handle a weapon.

So while he was walking me to my plane, I had Johnny n' Jake in my head and I realized where my fondness of fine federal agents comes from. But I was never so happy to get on a plane and wave goodbye!
