Wait For It...

Johnny made me very happy last night. There's probably only one other girl who can say that, no? I am completely being a dork so don't let your imagination get ahead of you...but if you think like me, it's too late.

We got some exclusive Johnny Whitworth news yesterday regarding his next project- a new big budget feature film (based on a novel written by Alan Glynn) called The Dark Fields and it's set for a 2011 release. Awesome cast- I think Robert DeNiro, Bradley Cooper, Abbie Cornish and now...ta-dah!..the one that counts... Johnny Whitworth. Plus the bonus of a totally intruiging plot- it sounds amazing. I am so excited I can't even wait and we'll have more details here as they come. 

*FYI New York Johnny Whitworth fans... filming crews have been in NYC for The Dark Fields this week and they will be on location in the Lower East Side of Manhattan this Saturday 4/3/10 but I have no idea what actors will be on set. The crews love it when you interrupt them and ask where the actors are. Better yet, ask a director. No please do not listen to me- I just ate a fed-ex'd cupcake from LA because JD lost a bet with me and had to have his assistant send me a dozen strawberry cupcakes. I'm all jacked up on sugar and I give ridiculous advice under the influence. And I only had one, I swear.

And I confess, I was a couch potato this weekend. And a bed potato ( I looove bed). It happens to me a few times a year and you just gotta go with it. My spring allergies got the best of me (thank you new england) and I cancelled everything. My friend was in an episode of Chuck (yes, Chuck) and he kept asking me if I watched it and I had to keep saying no ('cause I'm bad like that) and finally he got pissed enough and overnighted me a copy (sorry babe). This is what people usually have to do to get me to watch but it works (sometimes).

Anyway.

Have him all you want in a 24-hour period but then you have to give him up or buy the movie so he can live forever in your Mac or PC.

Pre-Order The Things We Carry on DVD

Jane sent us some exciting news tonight (thank u Jane!)- The Things We Carry can be pre-ordered for its DVD release on April 6th, 2010. Yay!

You can order it on Amazon.com right now.  Notice how Johnny Whitworth is the headliner. And don't forget it. If I remember my latin correctly, 'et al' means 'and others', no?  Here's what I do know, when your name is on something and the phrase 'and others' is tacked on after you to address everyone else in your project... you're the star, baby.

By the way,  I saw Gamer on DVD at the store this weekend so I stopped to look at it. And 'cause creepy guys have a radar for me, one felt the need to step into my personal space and ask me 'if I liked that Gerard Butter character'. ugh so when did Gerry change his last name to Butter?.. poor dork, I was nice though don't worry- I didn't correct him, I'm not mean but jeez how do you mess that name up? It's like calling Johnny Whitworth.. Johnny Wentworth...should not happen, k?

Anyway. Seriously thanks to all of you for your emails even the silly ones. JW's gotta know you love him and I'm pretty sure he loves you guys back.

Johnny told me that he just finished filming an episode of CSI: Miami last week. pee-your-pants-happy-dance. Watch the ratings go back up when Jake Berkeley returns. So freakin' excited! I have no idea when the episode airs yet or how many appearances he'll make.
