So the birthday boy had an afternoon taping on the 22nd for the Late Late Show and usually I'm not a fan of live studio audiences because they want you to laugh at EVERYridiculousTHING. But I will say this, Craig Ferguson is pee-your-pants funny. No I did not pee-my-pants but I came close, especially at the end of the segment.  loved it.
 
I don't know why I came in today, I need at least a full day to recover after those kinds of trips. I'm so far behind now, I'm going to just ignore what's on my desk, turn the lights out in my office and leave early. 'cause I can.

Happy Birthday!

Headed to SoCal for a bday party for a friend who's pissed that he's turning another year older tomorrow and approaching his mid-forties. They say that the 40's are the new 20's and he does acts like a 20 year old frat boy sometimes so maybe there's some truth to that? hmm  For real, he's a HUGE sweetie and a good friend. And when he's not mad at me for refusing to help inflate his ego, we get along great. I'm just really excited I get to eat cake twice for him in the next 48 hours.  I'm so freakin' easy to please.

But now for the real news...

Guess who's celebrating a ONE YEAR BIRTHDAY tomorrow?

It's Official!

Well, it was official when the man himself said it was official but now you don't have to just take my word for it.

IMDb finally quit sleeping on the job and made the big update. Johnny Whitworth now has The Dark Fields listed on his IMDb page and likewise, The Dark Fields IMDb page has Johnny listed but...ta-dah!..no character reference next to his name. and so we wait...

By the way, has anyone ever compared Johnny Whitworth to a young Robert DeNiro?  If you can't see it, you need a better imagination. I know I know, JW is much better looking but I'm totally feeling the resemblance and now thanks to my highly creative tendencies many many other people will too. I kid..sorta.

I hope you're not being a couch potato this weekend, but if you must be, at least spend part of it it watching one of Johnny's films. You know how I feel about his short lived appearance in 3:10 to Yuma so have a back-up plan for after he hits the dirt.

The Dark Fields...Johnny Comments

Thanks to Jane for the clean images of Johnny Whitworth and Bradley Cooper while filming in New York last week. It's been, what, a whole week since these were taken? so it's time for us to start going watermark free cause I'm not really happy unless I'm breaking a copyright law or two.

Brad is looking rough, clearly in full makeup and wardrobe for his part but even on a good day, Johnny Whitworth is waay sexier than the Coop, no? Renee, you think so too right?

In fact, it makes my brain hurt to try and think about trying to remove the watermarks and then having the photog go up one side of me and down the other for stealing his brand spankin' new images.  Alright that doesn't really bother me, I just don't know how to remove Wire Image's watermarks, ok?

Happy (day after) Easter

So I abused sugar again yesterday, it was pretty bad. Chocolate foil wrapped eggs just seem like such a good idea before you eat them, no? And then there's those little crack nuggets called jelly beans. Ugh I'm a hot mess today from all that and people need big answers I can't give them when I'm in sugar detox.

An Old Flame Returns To ‘Miami’

A familiar face makes a comeback, and feelings erupt as the eighth season of CSI: Miami draws to a close.

CSI Files previously reported that a stunning betrayal is in the cards for Miami’s leading man Horatio Caine (David Caruso). Calleigh Duquesne’s (Emily Procter) old flame Jake Berkeley (Johnny Whitworth), who was last seen in the season seven premiere “Resurrection”, will return to the show before the end of the season—and he is somehow connected to the big betrayal.

Calleigh’s current beau, Eric Delko (Adam Rodriguez), will uncover the treachery. “It’s explosive emotionally and it’s explosive literally,” co-executive producer Barry O’Brien told TVGuide.com. “It’s very dramatic and it’s something you’ve never seen before on CSI: Miami.”

Johnny Whitworth makes a highly anticipated return as Jake Berkeley on Monday, May 3rd in CSI: Miami's Season 8, Episode 21.
