Forget Berlin, Johnny Whitworth Is Still One of Our Official Selections

Does anyone think " You are keeping us honest, Paula :) " actually means "Thanks for pointing that out Paula."

I'm just kidding. I understand that it's exciting to hear whether or not a film you helped work on is headed to one of the top film festivals in the world.

What Valley of the Sun didn't take the opportunity to say to those who want to see festival progress, is that the Berlin Film Festival, or Berlinale, is a prestigious, major international film festival. It's hard to get into/easy to get rejected, but with all top film fests, you apply anyway to increase your chances of getting distribution.

The reality is, plenty of bad films get accepted into these fests and somehow get screened. It doesn't mean that Valley of the Sun isn't a kickass film with a gorgeous, talented lead, it just means that the programmers are looking for something else. Whateva'.

Valley of the Sun stars Johnny Whitworth and you can keep an eye on their festival run at the official Valley of the Sun Facebook page. Show some love to keep their fires burning 'cause it can be a long road of apply/deny even for the best of films.

Did You Watch It?

What do you want me to say. Bradley Cooper consumed the entire 30 second spot. The nerve. At least it started out with Johnny's sexy voice and then wait for it....nothing. oh no wait, we get to see his hand for one second at the :04 mark.

While I would of course thoroughly enjoy one of Johnny Whitworth's hands (did you just call me a pervert?), somehow this just wasn't enough for me.

Excellent trailer though, Limitless is gonna be smokin' hot.

Don't Believe It...Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance Has Not Wrapped Filming

So glad I'm not the dork who reported that Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance has completely wrapped. I admit I came close to being that dork, but I try to avoid making unconfirmed statements, k? @neveldinetaylor cleared it up for us via Twitter earlier today.

Now we know.

Here's a still from my all-time favorite Nicolas Cage scene out of Moonstruck where he holds his wax hand up and yells at Cher about his shitty life. It's priceless.



Over 20 years later...he's still holding his hand up but at least he's the Ghost Rider.

LIMITLESS Trailer at The Superbowl!

The Limitless movie trailer will air during Superbowl XLV this Sunday, February 6, 2011. Yay!

Other than the very cool 3 second teaser clip for Limitless that we saw during the Golden Globes, most people will be watching the official movie trailer on television for the very first time.

And if you can't afford a 2 minute spot ($12 mil) during the Superbowl, a 30 second spot ($3 mil) will still put your movie trailer in front of over 100 million viewers, giving you a very expensive yet highly lucrative box-office advantage.

The trailer will air sometime during the Superbowl (not pre or post) with kick-off happening shortly after 6:15pm EST.  Watch for it!

Limitless, with total babe Johnny Whitworth, might also have Robert DeNiro, Bradley Cooper and Abbie Cornish co-starring with him and has a theatrical release date of March 18, 2011.

Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance

Here's the new, repackaged sales synopsis that was just released from Hyde Park Entertainment for Johnny Whitworth's latest film, Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance:

"It has been several years since making a deal with the Devil and Johnny Blaze (Nicolas Cage), living in self-imposed isolation, finds himself as the only person who can help save 10-year-old Danny – and ultimately the world – thanks to his unwanted and uncontrollable power – his ability to transform into the hell-on-wheels monster known as The Ghost Rider."

Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance which stars Nicolas Cage, Johnny Whitworth, Ciaran Hinds, Violante Placido and Idris Elba is set for a February 2012 release.

So Billy's 92 year old nonna took the phone from him at her birthday party last night to tell me what's really on her mind:
