"hmm..didn't Johnny Whitworth quit acting years ago?" He answers the question like any serious, contemplative actor would, although you must know it's not really a juicy enough answer for me. yeah I said juicy. Anyway it's a good article if you're looking for one of the latest Johnny Whitworth interviews. He's a hottie.
ok I'm an a-hole, I didn't really go see it, there's just no way to catch a movie in Vegas and not feel like time completely stopped for two hours. but that's just me. Besides, Zak Bagans was in-house and he's always good for some paranormal activity. He's the only guy that can grab an ass and blame a spirit.
So I'm just starting to check out the reviews but it looks like a mixed bag. As in.. half of the people gave it great reviews because they just friggin' ENJOYED THE RIDE and the rest assumed the role of world class movie critic/filmmaker/writer/producer/actor/supernerd and tore it to shreds. But like I said I didn't see it yet and I'm a firm believer that everyone's entitled to their wrong opinion.
I'm still recovering, I need time to get my shit together.

I'm sitting here in my hotel room on the bed with my laptop and a diet coke, working like the nerd I am on a Friday night while tons of private parties are going on.. but whatever, it's way more comfy in babe's jersey and my pink fuzzy slippers. sure it's less fun, but it puts his mind at ease enough to finally let up on the texts..

DA MAN:You played Detective Jake Berkeley on CSI: Miami, a character that has been hugely popular among fans of the series. How much do you think you connected to the role, and would you say that it was a breakout of sorts?
Johnny Whitworth:I was unaware he was hugely popular! Thanks! Well Jake would often be misunderstood, and I can relate to that. I guess the role can be considered a ‘breakout’ of sorts because that show has a worldwide audience.
Johnny Whitworth would make his fans squeal like schoolgirls if he ever said he was just like Detective Jake Berkeley in real life. or wait is that just me..
DA MAN:How do you measure ‘more successful’… is it more fans, more headlines, more social networking followers, more money, more respect from peers, family, friends?
Johnny Whitworth:More choices.

DA MAN:Do you aspire to be more successful than you currently are, or are you at just the right place, just where you want to be in an ideal comfort zone?
Johnny Whitworth:Sure, I want to be more successful so that I have more choices.
good answer, bad question. don't they know actors never aspire to be more successful, they just love being on the cusp of becoming a household name while the big one evades them time and time again. jeezus.
DA MAN:Can you tell us what other projects you are working on at the moment?
Johnny Whitworth: I have a few things in the works, but nothing concrete I can comment on right now.

DA MAN: The quality you most admire in a man or woman?
Johnny Whitworth:The quality I most admire in a person is honesty. Both with oneself and with those around them.
well I feel shallow..I admire great hair, an unforgiving body and a kickass sense of humor. honesty is important too, oh wow I do have other priorities!

On why he decided to act: “I have wanted to be an actor since I was 6 years old. I’m not sure what made me decide, I just knew. I can tell you when I saw Eddie Murphy in Beverly Hills Cop that I wanted to be a movie star. But it was when I watched The Good, the Bad and the Ugly with my dad and saw Eli Wallach in the bath scene (I felt how dirty he was and how good that bath was gonna be) that I knew that I wanted to be an actor.”
On what he’d be doing if he wasn’t in Hollywood: “I would have been a psychotherapist. I’m very interested in why and how we, as human beings, do things.”
On previously working with Christian Bale and Russell Crowe: “Well, I learn something on every set. But, indeed, everyone you listed off here are top notch professionals and excellent craftsmen, and have influenced me with both their work on the set and in their films.”
